M4 and an Online Gun Shop
I’ve seen guns from magazines, video games, movies, television and security guards and cops. What I don’t know, honestly, is the specific names of each of the guns used for training and actual field operations. What pushed me to look into this is when a Facebook contact inquired if I had any idea what a M4 is? Of course, I don’t have any idea…I only am familiar with guns, handguns, pistols, rifles and shotguns but not specifically its classification.
What I found out now is that M4’s can be traced back to its earlier versions of M16. Though it is a bit shorter than the M16A2 rifle, it is lighter and still has about 80% of what M16A2 is made of overall.
Wikipedia says: M4 has selective fire options including semi-automatic and three-round burst (like the M16A2), while the M4A1 has a “full auto” option in place of the three-round burst.
M4 Specifications:
Weight: 5.9 lb (2.7 kg) empty, 6.9 lb (3.1 kg) with 30 rounds
Length: 33 in (838 mm) (stock extended), 29.8 in (757 mm) (stock retracted)
Barrel length: 14.5 in (368 mm)
On the other hand, here are the specifications for M16, M16A2 to be precise:
Weight: 7.8 lb (3.5 kg) unloaded, 8.79 lb (4.0 kg) loaded
Length: 39.5 in (1,000 mm)
Barrel length: 20 in (508 mm)
Now the image below is a perfect example of M4 since it has been used widely all over the internet. I think a humor website has used this many times over.
So the question as to whether or not I know what M4 is, stands open. I probably would have to read a whole lot of M4 source, still. But for anything that is related to guns for sale online, something this site is going to be loaded of information.

There may not be a lot of online gun shops that are active in marketing, but this blog will definitely change that.
